A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for a Payments Platform Product Manager to focus on payments performance, compliance, and data services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, treasury, finance, and legal, to ensure that all payment systems and data are easily accessible to our merchants and compliant with regional and global regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct review and analysis of payment partner integration flows between Apple and external payment providers.
• Review payment specs, extract payloads and identify opportunities for data minimization.
• Monitor and analyze payment metrics, such as transaction volume, decline rates, etc., and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
• Leverage data-driven insights to make informed recommendations on data and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, treasury and product in order to gather requirements and implement best practices.
• Coordinate engagement and communication with external partners regarding the review and assessment of integrations.
Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments.
• Bachelor''s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master''s degree is a plus).
• Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including payment gateways, merchant services, digital wallets, and mobile payments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to drive product decisions.
• Knowledge of payment regulations, security standards, privacy, and industry best practices.
Preferred Skills:
• 5 years of experience in the payments industry.
• Familiarity with data tools such as Splunk, Tableau, Numbers/Excel, Keynote
• Knowledge of international payment systems and cross-border transactions.
• Master''s degree in Business or Data Analytics.

Duration: 12 months with extension

Pay Rate: $59.00 - $74.00/hour (DOE)
