Job description
Architectural Door Detailer/Project Coordinator
Provide exceptional customer service by converting customer orders into proper manufacturing details that meet defined specifications, building codes and customer desires. Convert Customer Specs into Production Terminology via Freidman/AS400. Understand nuances of door manufacturing including hardware. Communicate with external and internal customers clearly and concisely to insure accurate production and delivery. Assure complete accuracy of order prior to submittal to manufacturing.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Essential Job Functions:
- Complete orders efficiently, accurately, and on time to meet scheduled delivery requirements
- Process orders and allocate materials
- Read basic hardware templates to determine machining requirements and fire label requirements
- Identify issues with orders and provide solutions or corrections
- Verify data integrity before order is released to production
- Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
- Communicate with customers to resolve conflicts between customer requests and state and federal building codes and regulations
- Process order revisions and suggest alternative products when appropriate
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Assist the Claims Department in resolving customer complaints and special requests
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Detailing and estimating experience of 2 – 5 years for an architectural door, frame, or hardware manufacturer or distributor
- Associate degree or higher
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience as well as Salesforce
- AS400 and CAD experience a plus
- High level of accuracy and detail orientation
- Ability to think through customer requests
- Highly organized
- Able to comprehend complex topics
