The senior level Service Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance and repair on all aspects of equipment. This role will assist other technicians and guide them to a better understanding of troubleshooting, as well as the proper maintenance and repair procedures.

$57,600.00 - $90,400.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions. YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned:
- Act as a mentor for other technicians that are still learning.
- Assist and teach others how to look up parts and service information, developing their understanding of the proper repair procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and test different types of lifts to ensure proper working conditions.
- Support other technicians in the resolution of equipment issues.
- Repair the business’s products, vehicles, and various other types of equipment and assist Lead Technician in estimation process.
- High School Diploma or GED] and four (4) or more years of relevant experience; or previous contracting experience with Oshkosh Corporation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
- Valid driver’s license must be always maintained.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service lifts and other equipment.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Understanding and incorporating safety regulations within the work environment
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment.
- Experience gained from attending one or more ultra-boom schools.
- Experience as a Field Service Technician.
- Experience mentoring others.
- Understanding of the business’s equipment functionality and characteristics.

- This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments.
- In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.
- Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
- Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.
