YOUR IMPACT
- Assemble according to specifications
- Master basic skills and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and / or equipment in area of expertise
- Assist others during assembly of components in area of expertise
- Teach other Assemblers proper techniques and procedures for mastered key sub-assemblies
- Complete required assembly documentation, check sheets, ECRs, MRRs and material movement paperwork
- Resolve routine questions and problems in mastered subassemblies; refer more complex issues to Group Team Leads
- Use material handling equipment to move parts, components, and subassemblies from one work or storage area to another as required
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area.
- Practice good housekeeping in work area
- Assist more experienced Assemblers as assigned
- May be asked to perform team support roles to assist supervisor
- Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste Rules and Responsibilities
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical / vocational / or military training or related experience is helpful
- Typically has 6 months mechanical experience with the possibility of gaining through on the job training
- Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
