Duties
- Set up, operate, and adjust slitter and rewinder machines to meet production specifications
- Inspect rolls of material for defects, ensuring quality control throughout the process
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Use forklift equipment to move raw materials and finished products safely within the facility
- Maintain accurate production logs, quality documentation, and safety records
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Experience
- Prior experience operating slitter or rewinder machinery in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge of operations, machining techniques, and general manufacturing processes advantageous
- Familiarity with forklift operation and safety protocols a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively in a fast-moving setting
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment through adherence to safety standards
$700 bi-monthly attendance bonus available which increases wage $2/hr!
