Part-time and Full time Night Shift Teachers

We are seeking a responsible, compassionate, and dependable night care member to provide late evening supervision and care for children in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure children's well-being, maintain established routines, and respond appropriately to children's needs during evening and night hours.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor children during evening and night shifts.

Ensure children's safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.

Assist with bedtime routines, including hygiene, changing clothes, and preparing children for sleep.

Comfort and support children who struggle to sleep or stay asleep.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, medications, and night activities.

Perform regular safety checks throughout the facility.

Follow all childcare licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies.

Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and daytime staff regarding children's needs and activities.

Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing children's areas.

Respond appropriately to emergencies and administer first aid when necessary.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous childcare, care giving, or youth services experience preferred.

Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout evening shifts.

Must pass all required background checks.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist children as needed.

Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
