We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Acute Care Registered Nurse for a part-time, on-site position based in Peoria, IL. The role involves monitoring and managing acute care patients through telehealth platforms, collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams, and ensuring high-quality, compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, creating and implementing care plans, providing virtual consultations, and documenting medical records accurately. The successful candidate will work in coordination with physicians and allied health professionals to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse with active and unrestricted multi-state or Illinois state RN license
- Strong clinical skills in acute care, patient assessment, and virtual monitoring
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide patient education
- Proficiency in using digital health tools, electronic medical records, and telehealth platforms
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation
- Experience with patient triage and crisis management is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
- CPR certification and compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
