What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Tech position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $47.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vascular Technologist follows established policies and procedures which includes performing and recording vascular diagnostic tests. They obtain information about normal and abnormal anatomy used to diagnose disease and ensure exams are of acceptable quality. They demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- 1 year training in vascular imaging
Licensure/ Certification:
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Registered as RVT from ARDMS or RVS from CCI or must take RVT/RVS registry and pass within 1 year of hire if not currently registered.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

- Previous experience as a vascular technologist
