Expected pay for this position is $44.77 - $52.67/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The UX Strategist is responsible for shaping the digital experience for patients, providers, and staff by ensuring that the design and functionality of digital tools align with user needs and organizational goals. This role collaborates across departments to develop user-centered digital strategies that enhance patient care, streamline internal processes, and improve overall service delivery within OSF HealthCare.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Health, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience as a UX strategist or designer.
- Experience developing personalization strategies to elevate the digital experience.
- Experience leading A/B testing to maximize effectiveness of the digital experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and clinical teams, to integrate user-centered design into the product development lifecycle.
- Experience with digital accessibility standards.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Strong understanding of UX design principles, user research methodologies, information architecture, and usability best practices, particularly in health care environments.
- Expertise in user research, including conducting interviews, surveys, data analysis, and usability testing. Proficiency in UX/UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, Miro) and design systems.
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, patient portals, telehealth solutions, and mobile health apps is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Health, or a related field.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools. Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
