Expected pay for this position is $21.72 - $25.55/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Food Production Supervisor plans, administers and directs all unit activities related to food production, culinary operations and complying with the standards established by the Food & Nutrition Services Department and regulatory agencies. Lead food production staff. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, visitors and staff.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate Degree in culinary or High School Degree and three years of experience as a lead in the food service or hospitality industry.
Other Licenses/Certifications: Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) through ANSI approved program within 90 days of employment Allergen certification within 90 days of employment.
Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor Degree Experience: 5 Years of experience in related position, such as Food Production Supervisor in a Healthcare setting Licenses/Certifications: Certified Dietary Manager Purchasing, Culinary, Math, and Computer skills
