Pay range for this position is $40.42 - $58.01/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Supervisor is a hands on leader and expert in Hospice philosophy and end-of-life care delivery. With a focus on clinical excellence, compassionate care and symptom management the supervisor is responsible for the oversight and day-to-day hospice operations, and development of Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Members. The clinical supervisor must possess critical thinking, communication, clinical skills, and leadership. Enables all Mission Partners to contribute to their fullest potential, creating a positive and supportive environment aligned with OSF Mission, Vision and Standards of Performance.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Experience: 1 year of progressively more responsible work experience in Hospice or 1 year supervisor experience in healthcare
Licensure/ Certification: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
BLS issued by American Heart Association is required prior to start date of employment.
Current driver's license and auto insurance, provides own transportation
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Electronic Medical Record basic proficiency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 2 years of supervisory experience
