Pay for this position is $17.14/hour. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
This job is located in Peoria,IL
830-1700 Monday - Friday
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the GI Lab Leadership Team and according to department policies, provides clerical support by scheduling and updating cases, answering phones, preparing charts, scanning documents into the electronic medical record and other office tasks as needed. Greets visitors and provides information as needed. Runs errands for patient care unit staff upon request. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary slightly by assigned unit or shift.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Work requires ability to read, write and communicate effectively at a level generally acquired through completion of a high school education. Medical Terminology preferred and typing test required with a minimum of 20 wpm. Work requires six to twelve months experience and on-the-job training to learn how to perform the various duties of Program Assistant. Work requires the interpersonal skills necessary to greet visitors; comfort patients, family members and/or significant others; and to communicate effectively with other patient care providers. Work requires analytical ability necessary to prioritize workload.
