Part-Time Hospice Physician in Galesburg, IL

Overview

JOB SPECIFICS:

• This role is seeking a BE/BC Primary Care or Hospice/Palliative Care Physician to provide services in the Galesburg Hospice Agency to support the community!
• 4 hours/week is required
• Join a well-established and fully-staffed team with additional support such as pastoral care and social workers
• Duties include team management, weekly interdisciplinary meetings, time logging, afterhours call Mon-Fri until 4:30pm, and occasional weekend call
• 1st call is covered by triage

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
