Pay for this position is $17.14/hour. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Linen Technician is responsible for handling, preparation and distribution of linen, as well as, managing the linen ordering and tracking. To include providing safe, hygienically clean linens to benefit of patients, visitors, and mission partners. While executing the assigned tasks, the Linen Technician may have some contact with patients and their family/loved ones. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, clean neat linen room, responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow to meet patient needs. The Linen Technician, in accordance with standards of quality, is an essential contributor to infection prevention.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
