What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICC Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Education Stipend (Ultrasound) position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $36.79 - $43.29/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
This is an education stipend opportunity. Upon completion of ICC's Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program, education stipend recipients will enter as an Ultrasound Technologist, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center for a full time, minimum 32 hours per week, 3 year work commitment.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs and records two-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional patient data. Completes patient intakes via collection of medical history and answers patient questions regarding imaging procedures. Confers with providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborates to determine if additional images required.
