Expected pay for this position is $36.04 - $42.40/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality and Safety Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, completing, and monitoring activities necessary to implement a robust Quality and Safety program. Assists with processes and key initiatives which support strategic patient safety goals and optimal health outcomes, including safety projects assigned. Is responsible to coordinate implementation efforts required to operationalize local corrective action plans and sustain solutions. Works in the Quality and Safety department and works collaboratively with facility leadership, Mission Partners, risk management, medical staff and others within the facility and across the Ministry to assist and engage Mission Partners across the OSF ministry with ensuring processes support high reliability and Mission Partners have the tools and skills needed to achieve zero harm. Develops and maintains relationships with OSF leaders in order to address safety care gaps and processes that enhance workforce commitment as well as quality, safety, service and financial performance that supports the achievement of strategic safety outcomes for OSF.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associates
Experience: Past participation in quality and safety committee or project work or responsibility in investigating safety events
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 5 years clinical experience in field of study.
Licensure/Certification: Current state license in field of study Patient Safety or Healthcare Quality
