Pay range for this position is $40.02 - $57.69/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Nursing Education Coordinator functions as an analyst, designer and developer, instructor, evaluator, consultant, and facilitator in a broad range of activities that lead to development and implementation of programs, instruction, and practice with emphasis on the electronic health record, performance problems, clinical competencies, and professional development.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Licensure/ Certification: Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Experience: 1 year of Clinical Nurse Education experience. Experience in Nursing Informatics and/or EPIC Credentialed Trainer.
- Licensure/ Certification: ACLS, PALS, and/or BLS American Heart Association instructor.
