College Of Nursing Support Rep

Starting pay for this position is $17.14/hour.

POSITION SUMMARY: Implements the policies and procedures related to student housing, building/room access, facility maintenance, institutional supplies, mail distribution, etc). Assigns rooms, mail boxes and keys for dorm residents and College of Nursing students meeting institutional goals and policies. Submits facility requests and ensures the necessary follow-up for necessary repairs. Orders and maintains storage of office supplies and institutional purchases. Performs secretarial duties including typing routine correspondence, updating tables and forms, preparing recurring reports, sending mass mailings special projects, and entering information into institutional software systems. Participates in planning and implementing special events at the College i.e. Graduate Recognition dinner, New Student Orientation, Graduation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • High school graduate or GED.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience working in a college or university Licensure/Certifications Other skills/knowledge • Proficient in the use of Micro Word, Excel, Assess, and Power Point. • Ability to accurately type; organize and coordinate multiple work activities with minimal supervision, use of initiative and independent judgment within procedural and supervisory guidelines, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively orally and in writing • Analytical skills necessary to handle nonroutine, moderately complex administrative details, including but not limited to editing routine drafts, and collecting data for projects. Compile statistical data accurately. • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and knowledge of proper English usage required. • Interest and working knowledge of processes within the areas of Student Housing, Student Support Services, Admissions, Registrar, Recruitment, Record Retention and Student Accounts.
