Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The PCT/CNA-Float provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs. This position requires floating to various departments within the medical center.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant *Candidates without their CNA- Certified Nurses Assistant license may be considered for an Uncertified Nursing Assistant role with the requirement of at least a High school diploma/ GED
- CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED Experience
- 6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
- 6 months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
