The hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hour This is an Hourly position.
Overview
OSF Innovation is focused on driving cutting-edge solutions and technological advancements in industries such as technology, healthcare, and sustainable solutions. We are looking for interns with a passion for innovation and a desire to contribute fresh perspectives. The ideal candidates should possess strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. This internship will provide exposure to real-world industry challenges, mentorship opportunities, and the chance to work on projects that have a tangible impact.
This is a summer internship (2026) expected start date is Tuesday, May 26th with an end date of August 7th. Intern is required to work on-site in Peoria, IL
POSITION SUMMARY: The intern will assist in brainstorming sessions, research initiatives, data analysis, and possibly even help design and prototype solutions. This role is perfect for someone who is adaptable, eager to learn, and excited about working in an environment that values creativity, forward-thinking, and the continuous pursuit of innovative ideas. Interns have made a valuable impact on pipeline for health care jobs within OSF Innovation. There are currently 4 previous interns employed as Mission Partners in Innovation Discovery Labs. We anticipate more pipelining from future interns within OSF Innovation.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Student currently attending college or university completing undergraduate degree in business administration. Related work experience or academic research in accounting, statistics, budgeting, marketing and management will be considered.
Proven leadership skills in team building, training, and problem solving are required.
Working knowledge of specific microcomputer applications (spreadsheet, word processing, and database) is required.
Analytical skills are required to address operational and system problems, to gather and interpret financial and clinical data, and to prepare clear, concise management reports that alert administration to opportunities and threats and propose appropriate action plans.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required to share complex information with administration, division directors and managers.
Experience preparing and delivering both small and large group presentations is required
