Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Audiology Extern engages in hands-on clinical training, providing support across a broad range of audiological services under the supervision of licensed audiologists in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Current enrollment in an accredited Doctor of Audiology program; eligible for 4th year externship placement.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Ability to work independently and part of a team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience with pediatric audiology and/or cochlear implants.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Knowledge of electronic health records. Proficiency in a second language (either American Sign Language or Spanish) preferred for effective communication with diverse patient populations.
