Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Product Sales position located in Bedford, PA. In this role, you'll be the tip of the spear — identifying and prospecting new customers, navigating the full sales cycle, and building a robust pipeline of opportunities. You'll represent our product lines across national markets, acting as a key point of contact for manufacturer-supplied leads and new business development.
Job Functions
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships through cold calling, warm outreach, in-person visits, and targeted outreach
- Execute all steps of a sale, from identifying targets to closing and follow-up
- Manage internal and manufacturer-supplied leads
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and tailor product recommendations to each opportunity
- Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records in Salesforce CRM, updating pipeline data for forecasting purposes
- Apply sound pricing strategies based on market conditions, opportunity size, and customer history
- Hand off closed accounts to Sales Account Managers or administrative team members as appropriate
- Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, and Sales leadership to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Leverage value-add offerings including fabrication, engineering, logistics and more to win and retain business
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or business development (B2B preferred)
- Comfortability making outbound calls and conducting in-person visits with prospective clients
- Strong professional communication skills across all channels — phone, email, video, and in-person
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems and other standard software platforms
- Knowledge of safety products or experience in industries such as utility, oil & gas, or industrial safety is an asset
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without waiting to be directed
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally as needed
