What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Production Maintenance Lead position at Oscar Winski Company?
Principal Objective of Position:
Plans, organizes, leads, and directs maintenance activities & systems to optimize equipment effectiveness and to maintain warehouse facilities. Ensure that maintenance personnel execute procedures, processes, work instructions, etc. in the manner prescribed, while operating in a team based environment.
Essential Functions:

- Coaches and leads the maintenance workforce
- Maintain all equipment and facilities necessary to perform work
- Required utilization of computer systems, databases, data entry, record maintenance, electronic purchase order creation.
- Diagnose problems, read prints or schematics, order parts and repair machinery with little supervision
- Adhere to all safety procedures
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
- Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts, including evenings and weekends when required with little or no supervision
- Acts as liaison with outside contractors
- Work with wide variety of equipment
- Perform electrical, painting, and/or carpentry repairs of fixtures and equipment on company premises

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Must be a competent welder and torch operator.
- Must be familiar with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
- Able to disassemble, evaluate, repair and reassemble components back to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Ability to use computers, printers and other associated equipment
- Ability to complete transactions in Microsoft Dynamics AX (training available)
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
