Job Title: Ironworker (Structural Steel / 3G & 4G Welding)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team. This role involves connecting and erecting structural steel components on job sites, as well as performing certified welding in 3G and 4G positions. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, experienced in steel erection, and proficient in structural welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect, align, and secure structural steel components such as beams, columns, and girders
- Perform structural welding in 3G (vertical) and 4G (overhead) positions
- Bolt, or weld steel components into place
- Signal crane operators and assist with rigging and hoisting operations
- Ensure proper alignment and stability of structures during installation
- Follow all OSHA and job site safety regulations
- Inspect materials and completed work for quality and accuracy
- Work at heights and in various weather conditions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an ironworker or structural steel worker
- Certified or qualified in 3G and 4G welding (AWS certification preferred)
- Knowledge of rigging, signaling, and steel erection processes
- Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable transportation to job sites
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable climbing, balancing, and working at heights
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods
Work Environment:
- Outdoor construction sites
- Exposure to varying weather conditions
- Work at elevated heights and around heavy equipment
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
