What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech 2nd shift position at OSBORN LLC?
Must be able to troubleshoot equipment mechanical, pnuematic, hydraulic and electrical systems to determine cause of equipment breakdown and action required to repair the equipment
Must be able to troubleshoot tooling in order to determine the action required to repair the tool.
Must be able to dismantle equipment / tooling and install new or repaired components
Inspect and measure components to detect wear, misalignment or other problems
Work with equipment operators to start and test equipment / tooling following a repair
Must be able to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical drawings in order to troubleshoot equipment and tooling
Performs Preventive Maintenance on equipment as per instructions and schedule
Cleans and lubricates bearings, gears and other components on equipment and tooling
Repair and maintain physical structure of the facility
Basic machining skills, setup and operate manual lathe, mill, drill press and grinder to make or repair parts
Install new piping, tubing and conduit to replace damaged ones
Drop electrical power and air to new or relocated equipment
Paint equipment to prevent corrosion
Reports on status and any unacceptable conditions of equipment / tooling to supervisor
Have basic computer skills in order to look up information on equipment in order to assist with troubleshooting
Cleans up work area when done working on equipment, tooling or facility
Ability to weld and operate a cutting torch a plus
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
minimum 3 years work experience or formal training in machine
troubleshooting and repair, facilities maintenance.
English - Must be able to communicate well with others
