We are a growing counseling practice seeking a dependable and detail oriented Assistant Office Manager to support the needs of our clinical staff, as well as day-to-day operations. This position combines managerial duties with administrative billing tasks, and plays a key role in keeping our office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and create a welcoming environment
Manage general inquiries and coordinate referrals
Collect copays and process payments
Assist with verifying insurance benefits and eligibility for clients
Follow up on denied or outstanding claims
Communicate with insurance companies as needed
Support the clinican staff with administrative requests as needed
Assist with intake coordination and documentation
Assist with maintaining office cleanliness and organization
Monitor office supplies and restock as needed
Qualifications
Experience with medical billing preferred
Prior experience in an administrative, front desk, or office manager role
Strong organizational skills required
Exceptional communication and client-oriented skills required
High attention to detail and follow through
Ability to handle confidential information professionally and within regulatory guidelines
Comfortable learning EHR systems and insurance portals
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is reliable, proactive, and able to take initiative when working independently and on a team. This person will be the first line of contact with clients as they come in for scheduled appointments; therefore, maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude with a friendly, professional demeanor will be of utmost importance.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
