The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is responsibility for organizing and providing diagnostic testing in the areas of chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and serology. Maintain quality standards and accurately report test results.

Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT) certified
- Advanced knowledge in principles of quality control, proficiency testing, workload reporting systems and program documentation to assure reliable data
- Willing and able to perform specimen collection: venipuncture, capillary, urine, etc.
General Qualifications
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Knowledge of HIPAA and Privacy Act
- Requires ability to read and understand federal regulations, Osage Nation policies and procedures, and state and accrediting agencies requirements and standards
- Must have thorough professional knowledge of standard medical technology concepts & principles
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Must be willing and able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have good visual acuity to perform microscopic examinations
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation
- Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
- Requires a high level of problem-solving skills
- Basic Life Support certified or obtain within 90 days of hire
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles
