The STEAM Resource Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and implementing science, technology, engineering, art, and math programs/projects to the WA[A[Y Early Learning Academies, Daposka Ahnkodapi, and Osage students enrolled in grades prek-12 / post-secondary institutions. The coordinator will also be responsible for the day to day operations of the STEAM program. The coordinator will ensure quality program/project development and implementation, in the areas of but not limited to: student and community outreach, data collection, maintenance of records and databases, preparation of reports, relationship building with students, parents, partners of the programs, and volunteers.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology or closely related field is required; Master’s degree preferred
- At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience with education programs preferred
- Must be willing to travel and attend parent meetings and community events as needed
- Must have the ability to teach parent/student/teacher workshops
- Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
- Requires a high level of problem solving skills
- Requires willingness & ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences & training sessions
- Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
- Requires occasional flexible working hours to include after hours or on weekends
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
