Job Overview
Osage County R-III School District is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to provide custodial support in the kitchen and cafeteria during school lunch periods (10 am - 2 pm). This position plays an important role in keeping the cafeteria clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff while supporting the food service team with daily lunch operations.
Duties
- Keeps assigned areas of the building neat, clean, and sanitary at all times.
- Cleans cafeteria tables, floors, serving areas, and other assigned spaces during and after school lunch periods.
- Assists with trash removal, spills, and other custodial needs associated with meal service.
- Moves furniture or equipment within the building as required for school activities and as directed by the building principal.
- Performs assigned cleaning and minor maintenance duties.
- Works cooperatively with food service employees, custodial staff, administrators, students, and other district employees.
- Follows established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Adheres to all policies of the Osage County R-III Board of Education.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned by district administrators.
Pay: $15.05 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
Work Location: In person
