Overview
The Banquet Houseman physically assists with all functions of the Banquet Department to set up and breakdown for events.

SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None
MINIMUM QUALIFICAQTIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Adhere to all standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Serve and communicate with group contacts in friendly and efficient manner.
- Effectively communicate with other staff members
- Set-up and/or breakdown tables, chairs, audio visual equipment and platform/stages and other equipment as specified by group requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, banquet hallways, and storage and services areas
- Inspect cleanliness and working conditions of all equipment to be set up in function area.
- Required to obtain a State of Oklahoma food handlers permit and liquor license.
- Must be able to pass background check, with no prior convictions of any felonies.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Osage Nation Gaming License.
Qualifications
JOB DUTIES
- Set up tables, chairs, and other supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness of banquet rooms and surrounding areas
- Properly dispose of and return set-up materials to designated area.
- Basic knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, glassware, garnishes, and beverage service techniques
- Physically assist with all functions of Banquet Department and Skyline Event Center as needed.
- Maintains constant awareness of safety issues.
- Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed to move equipment.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Required to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to sit, stoop, kneel or crouch while performing duties.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Ability to use arms to reach and lift above shoulders.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull upwards of 75 pounds.
- Must have normal auditory and good verbal communication.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is typically performed within Casino, restaurant, bar, and event settings.
- Exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level.
- Work may be performed in in hazardous work conditions, such as extreme temperatures and outdoor conditions.
- Situations where caution must be exercised sometimes occur when dealing with difficult guest interaction(s).
- Evening and weekend shifts may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
