As the Hospital Administrator, you will be instrumental in leading our team to fulfill the mission, vision, and goals of the Program and Hospital. The Hospital Administrator is responsible for the development and implementation of a quality treatment program, compliance to all standards of operation by regulatory agencies, management of the facility and related equipment, the budget, the development of a comprehensive community relations and education program, and the supervision of the program staff and their compliance to expected competencies. The Hospital Administrator shall also be accountable for the fulfillment of all agreements between the Hospital and any other Program/Service Providers, including Host Facility, as well as the financial viability of the Hospital.

Responsibilities

The Hospital Administrator is responsible for:

  • Participating in the Program content development and schedule with the clinical team and Medical Director.
  • Developing Program-specific policies and procedures in accordance with the Hospital, state, and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Incorporating data/findings from Quality Improvement Program to enhance the program operation/quality.
  • Coordinating the selection, hiring, termination, and orientation of all employees associated with the Program, ensuring a sufficient number of qualified and competent staff are able to provide services, including patient care and treatment.
  • Providing for patient safety, respect, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Ensuring compliance of all regulatory agencies regarding documentation, record maintenance, patient care procedures, information systems, and human resource issues.
  • Leading successful licensure, accreditation and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Master’s degree or equivalent in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration. Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Behavioral Science, Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
  • Minimum: Three (3) years post master’s degree clinical and/or administrative experience
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of facility administration and clinical operations.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules and regulations governing mental health and addiction treatment inpatient services and related funding (CMS, DNV, AHCA, DCS, HIPAA, 42 CFR).
  • Strong knowledge of DNV accreditation standards and ISO 9001 and the proven ability to lead successful licensure, accreditation, and compliance efforts in a behavioral health facility.

Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Health is a 16-bed inpatient, free standing Adult Psychiatric hospital that specializes in treating Anxiety, Major Depression, Mood disturbances, Psychosis, and other mental health illnesses. Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Healthsees itself as a partner with the surrounding community as we provide psychiatric care to adult patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to illnesses related to mental health. The Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Health will operate a “state of the industry” treatment facility that provides specialized treatment services designed to continually improve in quality and cost effectiveness. Patient care services will be provided by a multidisciplinary treatment team of professionals utilizing current, research-based, Best Practice protocols designed to achieve maximum therapeutic benefit for each patient entrusted to its care.

Inpatient Acute Care at Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Health is designed to meet needs of individuals in crisis. The mission of our facility is to provide quality services that consistently meet and exceed the expectations of patients, families, referral sources, payers, and partners. Inpatient services are offered for individuals 18 and older who meet inpatient criteria.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
