Position Summary
A Clothing Store Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, maintaining store appearance, and supporting daily retail operations. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance
- Help customers find clothing items, sizes, and styles that meet their needs
- Provide product recommendations and styling suggestions
- Process purchases, returns, and exchanges using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays
- Restock shelves and ensure inventory is properly arranged
- Keep the sales floor clean, tidy, and well-maintained
- Stay informed about current promotions, sales, and new arrivals
- Assist with inventory counts and stockroom organization
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
