What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
Orwigsburg Center is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist in the general maintenance of the facility and equipment.
Monday-Friday Schedule
Overtime and on call may be required.
Duties include:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Maintain/Repair mechanical and electrical equipment(washers,dryers)
- Setup and adjust TVs
- Replace and repair electrical fixtures and circuits
- Perform plumbing repairs on piping, toilets, urinals, flush valves, faucets, washers'packings and drain lines
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain HVAC equipment
- General Painting
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous manitence experience is required; healthcare experience is highly desirable
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
