Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating attractive product displays, managing inventory, and enhancing the overall shopping experience by upholding Orvino and Costco standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and excellent communication abilities to effectively coordinate with store management and marketing teams. The Merchandiser will play a vital role in driving sales, ensuring brand consistency, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective planograms to optimize product placement and presentation.
- Manage stock levels through inventory management and inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with store management on promotional displays.
- Assist in merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, setting up all Orvino displays, and maintaining clean and visually acceptable displays.
Skills
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and branding principles
- Multilingual skills are a plus for communicating with diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of schematics, planograms, interior design, remodeling, and store management techniques
- Experience in retail sales, customer service, pricing strategies, and sales techniques.
- Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills for coordinating multiple tasks
- Expertise in merchandising, stocking, inventory management, inventory control, and cleanliness
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
