Fairway View Neighborhoods Long Term Care seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work direct patient care in many capacities – observing, assessing, passing medications, and documenting information relating to the residents.
Duties Include:
- Makes regular rounds observing resident condition, vital signs, assessing findings, planning resident nursing care, and recording pertinent information
- Accurate administration of medication and treatment as prescribed by physician. Assists physician during rounds in absence of Care Coordinator to facilitate communication.
- Instructs residents on their treatments and medication to promote resident understanding and continuity of care.
- Provides necessary support to LPN’s and CNA’s to ensure they are able to perform their work. Supervises the care by LPNs and CNAs to residents.
- Serves as a role model for other nursing personnel.
Hours and Pay:
- Part Time, 48 hours per 2 week pay period, 6am - 2:30pm
