Inside Sales Representative
(Customer Service)
Ortman Fluid Power Inc. is a full line NFPA cylinder manufacturer located in Quincy, IL. We are looking to hire someone for our Inside Sales Team. Our Salesperson would proactively work with our existing distributors, direct customers, and any new inquiries primarily by phone or e-mail to professionally represent the Company. Our Inside Sales Representative would provide our customers with the product information or service they need for business support.
- The individual would need to have good customer service and communication skills.
- Be reliable, organized and detail oriented.
- Edit and review quote requests for new or repeat product orders for accuracy.
- Establish and quote the correct pricing and discounts for cylinders, aftermarket, and parts.
- Coordinate and enter orders booked and schedule accordingly.
- Able to multi-task while working on various stages of order processing and the quoting process.
- Our Customer Service person would be a primary contact and liaison between our Distributors,
Direct Customers, and new prospective customers. Would coordinate with Manufacturing,
Engineering and other departments with scheduling and any other lead time issues.
- Work as a team player and to be as efficient as possible. Able to work and communicate well with other Departments for accuracy and efficiency.
The qualified candidate will have experience with Inside Sales, a good problem-solving ability, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude. Must have a working knowledge of
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). We offer an excellent benefit package which includes a 401k, medical insurance, 10 paid holidays and bonus opportunities. Salary range - based on experience.
