Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and post-treatment care
- Assist during surgical procedures and follow-up patient care
- Document patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed medical records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient management
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant
- Prior experience in orthopedics or sports medicine preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
