Make Every Recovery a Safe One As a PACU Registered Nurse, you’ll play an important role in helping patients safely and comfortably recover from anesthesia following surgery. You’ll provide attentive post-operative care, closely monitor patients, manage pain and symptoms, and respond quickly to changes in condition. Working alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team, you’ll help create a seamless experience from surgery through recovery and discharge. What You’ll Do Provide safe, compassionate nursing care throughout the perioperative and post-anesthesia recovery process. Closely monitor patients following surgery, including vital signs, airway status, pain, and overall response to anesthesia. Recognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly and appropriately to potential complications. Administer medications and implement pain and symptom management interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity throughout recovery. Educate and reassure patients and families, helping them understand the recovery process and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality. Support patient safety, quality standards, and an efficient flow of care in a fast-paced surgical environment. What You’ll Bring Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state. Clinical experience in PACU, perioperative, critical care, emergency, or other relevant acute-care nursing setting, as required by the facility. Knowledge of post-anesthesia assessment, surgical patient care, pain management, and emergency response. Ability to recognize and respond effectively to changes in patient condition. Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining patient privacy and dignity. Why Join Us? INDOP1 Compensation Range for this position: $44.67 - $67.01 Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
