We are currently seeking a compassionate, energetic, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Orthotic Fitter to join our Miami office.
No prior orthotic fitting experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate and will cover the cost of obtaining your Florida Orthotic Fitter License.
Position Summary
As an Orthotic Fitter, you will work directly with patients to fit and adjust a variety of orthotic devices, including braces, diabetic shoes, custom foot orthotics, and other supportive devices. You will collaborate with our Certified Orthotists and Prosthetists, physicians, and therapists to help patients improve their mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Fit and deliver orthotic devices including:
- Knee braces
- Ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs)
- Spinal braces (LSO/TLSO)
- Walking boots and fracture braces
- Diabetic therapeutic shoes and custom inserts
- Compression garments and other DME products
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper use and wear schedules.
- Perform minor adjustments to improve comfort and function.
- Document patient encounters accurately.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and medical staff.
- Maintain a professional and friendly environment for all patients.
Skills / Qualifications
- Experience is not required.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous healthcare, DME, or medical office experience is helpful but not necessary.
- Knowledge of HCPCS and ICD-10 coding is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
Physical Demands
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and squat during the fitting and adjustment of diabetic shoes, ankle braces, and other orthotic devices.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday while assisting patients.
