Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic is seeking an Occupational Hand Therapist for a PRN, Monday through Friday opportunity with flexible scheduling to work in one of our Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic locations in Knoxville. The Occupational Hand Therapist will evaluate, develop and administer occupational therapy services for hand therapy and splinting. Must have a certification as CHT or interest in pursuing certification. Additionally, will document, patient/caregiver education, and provide care team communication and coordination. Licensure Required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for orthopedic patients.
Develop and implement customized treatment plans, including specialized splint fabrication.
Collaborate closely with our renowned hand therapy team to optimize patient care.
Maintain meticulous documentation and communication within the care team.
Provide patient and caregiver education to support ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
Participate in professional development opportunities, including hosted hand therapy courses
Qualifications:
Accredited degree in Occupational Therapy.
Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Preferential experience working orthopedic hand and upper extremity patients.
Certification as CHT or interest in pursuing certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning.
