  • Accurately update patient medications, medical histories, allergies, and other information in the electronic health record.

  • Assist physicians and Advanced Practice Providers with in-office procedures, injections, splinting, casting, wound care, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing within the scope of training.

  • Serve as a clinical scribe by documenting patient encounters accurately and in real time.

  • Assist providers with orders, referrals, imaging and therapy requests, prescriptions, durable medical equipment documentation, and follow-up instructions.

  • Serve as a primary clinical support resource for assigned providers by anticipating needs and helping maintain an efficient patient workflow.

  • Manage assigned clinical tasks, messages, results, forms, and communications according to provider direction.

  • Communicate approved provider instructions, treatment plans, test results, and follow-up needs to patients.

  • Coordinate imaging, therapy, surgery preparation, referrals, and other aspects of patient care as directed.

  • Provide appropriate patient education regarding procedures, treatments, medications, equipment, and post-visit instructions.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, patient-safety, and other applicable clinical and organizational requirements.

  • Participate in training, cross-training, team meetings, quality-improvement activities, and special projects as needed.

What We're Looking For
