The Orthopedic & Sports Institute is seeking a full time onsite Human Resources Manager for a busy Orthopedic clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of HR practices, federal and state regulations, payroll practices, and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Recruitment (ATS, job posting, interviews, offer letters)
- Onboarding
- Coach and mentor team members
- Assistance with Performance Improvement Plans
- Employee relations
- Create and maintain job descriptions
- Work collaboratively with leadership, finance, and marketing team
- Process payroll
- Payroll year-end responsibilities (W-2 & 1095)
- Management of Workers Compensation including audits
- Management of confidential employee information
- Coordination with occupational health
- Promote and build a wellness program
- Organization and policy review
- Benefit administration (collaborate with broker, maintain benefits, and open enrollment)
- 401k administration (enrollment, maintenance of accounts, and year-end census)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business
- 8 years of Human Resources experience preferably in Healthcare
- SHRM Certification preferred
- Working knowledge of Paycom or similar payroll system
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
