Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist, based in Queensbury, NY. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and develop tailored treatment plans for patients, perform therapeutic exercises, and provide hands-on techniques to aid recovery. The role involves regular patient education on preventative care and wellness, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining thorough documentation of patient progress.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in physical therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise implementation, and manual therapy
- Proficiency in conducting patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
- Ability to educate patients on preventative care and wellness strategies
- Efficient in maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New York
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration and patient interaction
- Commitment to patient care and a passion for improving individuals' quality of life
- Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent required
- Experience in orthopedic or spine therapy is highly preferred
