Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our surgical center located in Carlstadt, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Duties

Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Provide education to patients and regarding health management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Assist in emergency situations, providing critical care as needed.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Current New Jersey RN license
Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Previous experience in an orthopedic, urgent care, or emergency setting is a plus
Pre-Op/PACU experience a plus

Schedule

Per diem opportunities available every Friday, and every other Saturday.
