Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our surgical center located in Carlstadt, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Days Needed: Every Monday, Friday, and two Saturdays a month
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide education to patients and regarding health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in emergency situations, providing critical care as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current New Jersey RN license
- Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Previous experience in an orthopedic, urgent care, or emergency setting is a plus
- Pre-Op/PACU experience a plus
Schedule
- Part time days: Monday, Friday, and two Saturdays a month
