Role Description
This full-time Physical Therapist role is on-site and based at our Wake Forest location. PTs evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions for conditions such as chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, spine-related issues, arthritis, sports injuries, and balance and gait impairments. Daily responsibilities include conducting therapeutic exercises and strength training, educating patients on home exercise programs, and documenting treatment sessions in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards. The role also involves collaborating with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting care plans to support optimal outcomes. Our clinic has offered several specialties including pelvic health, vestibular therapy, dry needling, and lymphedema therapy. Interest in any of these areas a plus.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong competencies in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to assess, plan, and implement effective treatment programs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Patient Care and Home Care to deliver compassionate, individualized support and design safe, practical home exercise plans.
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (DPT or equivalent) in North Carolina, or eligibility for licensure within a defined timeframe.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Ability to safely manage patient caseloads, prioritize tasks, and maintain professional standards of ethics and confidentiality.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and use of evidence-based practice.
