- Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student-athletes
- Evaluate and assess injuries and provide appropriate treatment and rehabilitation
- Communicate with coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals regarding student-
athlete injuries and progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all student-athletes
- Educate student-athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, and overall wellness
- Assist with pre-season physicals and medical clearance for participation in sports
- Attend all practices, games, and events as needed to provide medical coverage
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Current certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques
- Experience working with high school athletes preferred
