Position Overview

As a Pain Management APP at our Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls SD, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with our team of physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs. Your primary focus will be on managing pain and improving the quality of life for our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Pain Management APP, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' pain levels and medical histories
  • Collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans and adjust medications as needed
  • Educating patients on pain management techniques and lifestyle changes
  • Performing injections and other minimally invasive procedures to alleviate pain
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current state licensure as a PA-C or CNP
  • Board certification in pain management or willingness to obtain certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in pain management, orthopedics, physical medicine, or a related specialty preferred.
  • Experience with musculoskeletal conditions, interventional procedures, and medication management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
