Responsibilities
As a Pain Management APP, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients' pain levels and medical histories
- Collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans and adjust medications as needed
- Educating patients on pain management techniques and lifestyle changes
- Performing injections and other minimally invasive procedures to alleviate pain
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current state licensure as a PA-C or CNP
- Board certification in pain management or willingness to obtain certification preferred
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in pain management, orthopedics, physical medicine, or a related specialty preferred.
- Experience with musculoskeletal conditions, interventional procedures, and medication management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
