Job Summary
We are looking for a X-Ray Technologist to run our C-Arm every other Tuesday from 2-8 hours. This is a PRN position and is only needed every other Tuesday. You'll operate the C-Arm for spinal injections that are done by the orthopedist.
Duties
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, and fluoroscopy units with precision and care.
- Perform sterile prep of the upcoming procedure.
- Implement radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff during all imaging procedures.
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures by providing real-time imaging support using C-Arm technology and other specialized equipment.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, physiology assessment, and adherence to aseptic techniques to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, ensuring accuracy for medical records and diagnostic purposes.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of radiologic imaging techniques including X-ray, and fluoroscopy.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Skilled in operating medical imaging equipment safely and effectively while implementing radiation safety protocols.
- Ability to perform interventional radiography procedures with precision in interventional radiology environments.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort, safety, and clear communication.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques necessary for invasive procedures and sterile environments.
This is a PRN position.
Only needed every other Tuesday.
No required travel.
Pay: $34.26 - $41.26 per hour
