Job Summary:
This position will oversee management of end-to-end revenue cycle processes for orthoLA. This role will continuously drive revenue cycle performance improvement, as well as cost, productivity, and profitable goals.
Success depends on working with other departments to create efficient, effective RCM processes. The VP will lead by example to support collaboration across various functions of orthoLA, ensuring goals and strategy are aligned to support delivery of billing services. Some of these goals and strategies include: driving patient and customer commitment, maximizing return through improved bad debt, timely cash collections, and oversight of payor fee schedules.
The VP of Revenue Cycle Management is an operations leader who has direct accountability for P&L performance, KPIs, and all functions in Front, Middle, and Back Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operations:
- Provide direction, oversight, and monitoring of RCM performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence
- Deliver updates to leadership
- Proactively raise concerns with management team to drive action and improvement
- Perform regular analysis of performance compared to industry metrics
- Performance Improvement:
- Plan and manage overall processes and strategy to ensure meeting goals and deliver high performance
- Develop, execute, and monitor projects and technology introduction to improve performance, operational efficiency/productivity, and growth
- People Management:
- Manage patient access and other onsite teams, ensuring alignment with client and organizational goals
- Support collaboration, communication, and relationships between nonclinical and clinical onsite, remote teams supporting revenue cycle services
Education and Experience:
- 7 years of RCM Operations leadership experience overseeing Front, Middle, and/or Back.
- Demonstrated experience driving projects and introducing technology to improve client performance and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating organizational change and providing process improvement recommendations.
